A tragic accident occurred on Saturday 2 May in Renon/Ritten when, for reasons still unknown, a herd of 14 yearling fillies broke out of their pasture and fell into a ravine. Only three survived. We would like to express our deepest sympathy to the owner, Alois Schweigkofler, who is a member of the Provincial Federation of South Tyrol Haflinger Horse Breeders.
