Item number one on the agenda of the WHBSF delegates’ meeting on Friday 29 January 2021:  the upcoming Haflinger World Show. Due to the pandemic, the original date scheduled for 2020 had already been postponed in the previous year; now, however, the Haflinger Breeders’ Association Tyrol (HPT) explained that holding onto the event taking place in May 2021 would not be sensible under the given conditions: Of all events, the Haflinger World Show in particular lives and thrives on the presence of a live audience – and at this point no one can possibly predict what the situation will look like in early summer.

It was therefore decided to return to the original rhythm of five-year intervals and to hold the next edition in 2025. The HPT has already formally applied to host the Show, but all other member countries are of course also free and welcome to submit their applications before the WHBSF General Assembly this autumn.
