Two students of equine economics, Samira Hornauer and Lara Stamler, are currently conducting a survey on the subject of training and marketing of the South Tyrolean Haflinger in cooperation with the Provincial Federation of South Tyrol Haflinger Horse Breeders and the Free University of Bolzano/Bozen.

Based on the analysis of the current situation, potentials for improvement are to be identified and corresponding strategic measures are to be taken. The prerequisite is, of course, a large participation of the breeders concerned.
