On 24 January 2020, the South Tyrol Young Haflinger and Noriker Breeders' Association held its the annual General Assembly at the Centre for Livestock Breeding (Casa della Zootecnia/Haus der Tierzucht) in Bolzano/Bozen. Chairwoman Sabine Stuefer welcomed those present and then handed over to Claudia Pircher, who presented the 2019 annual report and the activities planned for the upcoming spring, among which the yearly gallop races in Sarentino/Sarnthein and training sessions on how to correctly present your horse.
Praise from the guests of honour Haflinger Queen Andrea Aster praised the Young Breeders' Association, highlighting how well-organised their events had continuously proven to be. Michael Gruber, Director of the Provincial Federation of South Tyrol Haflinger Horse Breeders, agreed with her, adding that a sound basis of cooperation and a functioning communication system between the Provincial Federation and the Young Breeders' Association, but also between the members themselves, is crucial for their work to be successful.
