In the eastern part of South Tyrol, Regional Foal Championships have a long and thriving tradition. With a new venue every year, the breeders' associations of Lazfons/Latzfons, Villandro/Villanders, the Lower Isarco/Wipptal Valley and Maranza/Meransen never fail to organise a fine and fruitful event for horse lovers from near and far. Just like latest edition hosted by the Maranza/Meransen Haflinger Breeders' Association, with its industrious chairman Jonas Oberhammer and his dedicated team at the helm: a hugely successful show presenting the region's most beautiful foals and the many passionate breeders who have raised them.
