120 years of breeding tradition
On Sunday 25 May, the Haflinger horse breeding associations of San Genesio/Jenesien, Meltina/Mölten, Verano/Vöran and Avelengo/Hafling hosted an impressive show of 140 breeding horses at the Unterwirtshof inn of San Genesio/Jenesien to commemorate the founding of the Meltina/Mölten First Association of Haflinger Breeders in the early summer of 1904 – at the time a historic milestone for uniformly regulated horse breeding on the plains of the Monzoccolo/Tschögglberg hillside.
