A weekend dedicated to Haflinger sports

From 12 to 13 October 2019, hundreds of equestrian sports enthusiasts once again flocked to South Tyrol's most famous spa town to marvel at the versatility of the Haflinger breed during the second edition of the Haflinger Sports Days. Saturday saw the last stage of this year's Italian Haflinger Western Championships take place at the Merano/Meran Equestrian Centre, while on Sunday the crowds at the race track were awed with eventing, trot racing, carriage driving and the traditional autumn gallop races.
In the future, the second weekend of October will be a fixed date for Haflinger racing across all disciplines, with the Merano/Meran racecourse offering the very best conditions and a simply magnificent backdrop.
